What the Business Days Calculator does

This tool counts how many working days fall between two calendar dates. Pick a starting date and an ending date, and it returns the number of business days (Monday to Friday) along with the total number of days, both counted inclusively. It is useful for estimating project timelines, delivery windows, notice periods, invoice payment terms, and any planning where weekends should not count. Because the tool removes only Saturdays and Sundays, the business day figure ignores public holidays. Treat the result as a solid working estimate and adjust for any holidays that land on a weekday in your region.

How to use it

A quick example

Say you want to count workdays from Monday, June 1 to Friday, June 12. That span covers 12 total days, but it includes two weekends, so the business day count is 10. The total days figure stays useful when you need the raw calendar length, for instance to compare against a contract that counts every day rather than only weekdays.
