What the Favicon Generator does

This tool turns any picture (a logo, an app icon, a mark) into a full set of favicon images at once. You upload one image and it renders every common size, 16, 32, 48, 64, 128, and 256 pixels square, and shows a live browser-tab mockup so you can see how the tiny icon actually reads. It is handy for developers, bloggers, and anyone setting up a site who needs that tab icon without opening a heavy editor.

How to use it

  1. Drop your image onto the upload area, or click to browse. A square image works best.
  2. Check the browser tab preview at the top to see your favicon at real size.
  3. Download any single size from the grid, or press Download all (ZIP) to get every size in one file.
  4. Use Change image to start over with a different picture.

A couple of tips

Start from a square, high-contrast source so the icon stays readable when shrunk to 16 px. Simple shapes and bold marks survive small sizes far better than detailed photos. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and there are no limits. If you are batch editing a whole folder of images, the BulkPro desktop app from the same team handles many files at once.

Frequently asked questions

Which favicon sizes do I get?
All the common ones at once: 16, 32, 48, 64, 128, and 256 pixels square. You can download any single size, or grab them all together in a ZIP.
How does the browser tab preview work?
After you upload an image, the tool shows a small mockup of a browser tab using your 32 px favicon, so you can judge how it reads at real size before downloading.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Every size is rendered locally in your browser with a canvas, so your image never leaves your device. There is no upload, no account, and no storage on our side.
