What the Image Cropper does
The JotTools Image Cropper trims a photo down to just the part you want, the natural way: you drag a box over the image with your mouse or finger, and the tool cuts out exactly that area. It is handy for squaring up a profile picture, removing an empty margin, pulling one detail out of a screenshot, or prepping a thumbnail. No coordinates to type and no editor skills needed.
How to use it
- Drop an image onto the upload area, or click to browse and pick a file.
- Click and drag across the image to draw your selection. Everything outside the box dims so the crop is easy to see.
- Adjust by dragging again to draw a new selection. The pixel size of your selection shows next to the button.
- Press Crop and download to save the selected area as a PNG.
- Use Change image if you want to start over with a different photo.
